Rustin Man, the latest solo project of Paul Webb, formerly of Talk Talk, and bassist of Talk Talk, has released his latest album, "Clockdust". The album was produced around the same time as his first new album in 17 years, Drift Code, which was composed with electric guitar and filled the space with a dense sound image. The album is a tight structure, but the songs that make the most of sound space are the result of the album. The album is a collection of songs that are tight in structure, yet utilize sound space. The album is clad in a pale nostalgia and sepia-toned psychedelia that can be likened to 1920s classics such as chansonist Jacques Brel and opera composer Kurt Weil, as well as 50s British rock like Jet Harris, with the preceding song "Jackie's Room" as the first track, The album contains nine songs with an ageless charm.He produced, engineered, and played almost all the instruments himself, and co-engineered the album with his old Talk Talk ally Lee Harris.
