Heinrich Isak (1450-1517) was one of the most important composers of the late 15th and early 16th centuries, especially famous for his work "Farewell, Insulbruck. From 1485, he was musician at the court of Lorenzo de' Medici, where he served as head of the court music and music teacher for the children. At the end of the 1490s, he served the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I, traveling throughout Germany and exerting a great influence on the German musical world of the time. In other words, he was a re-eminent figure in the music world of his time, serving the highest authority of the time. In this album, Savart traces Isak's life and various pieces of his music to show us not only "Farewell Innsbruck" but also the charm of Isak and the atmosphere of the time. King International
