Conan Moccasin, the New Zealand-born, now UK-based soft psychedelic singer/songwriter who has been praised by Radiohead, MGMT, Grizzly Bear, and others. In 2011, he released his first album "Forever Dolphin Love" on Errol Alkan's Phantasy label. The album, which was produced because it was recommended by his mother, was critically acclaimed and received high praise and reviews from the media in the U.K. and other countries in the U.S. and Europe for its soft psychedelic sound. After supporting Radiohead on their Australian tour and touring with Charlotte Gainsbourg's live band in 2012, he finally released his second album! His last album had a soft psychedelic sound, but this album has soul and funk elements added to it, adding a soulful side of Scritti Politi to the psychedelic sound of Kevin Ayers and Syd Barrett, and creating a mysterious sound like Prince's attempt at Canterbury music. It is a mysterious sound. The album was recorded in a hotel room in Tokyo for a large part of the album.You can hear the remnants of this in "It's Your Body (Part Five)" and in the Japanese that can be heard in places.
