Description:
Formed in Brighton, UK in 2015 while still in college, the band consists of Ollie Judge (drums & lead vocals), Luis Boales (guitar & vocals), Arthur Redbetter (keyboards, strings, percussion), and Rory Nancaivel (bass & brass), Anton Pearson (guitar & vocals). The band's debut album "Bright Green Field" made a splash on the UK charts, and they have now released their latest EP "Near The Westway" on Warp, which includes two live tracks, "2010" and "DFM" from their debut album "Bright Green Field". The EP features the band's live reworkings of "2010" and "DFM" from their debut album "Bright Green Field," and is the long-awaited official release of the limited-edition, sold-out record that was first released on Record Store Day 2021. The band has also added new horns and strings to develop the arrangement of the song, which was strongly influenced by minimal music legend Steve Reich.
