Savages, a four-piece post-punk band based in London, has been nominated for the BBC Sound of 2013 and is now making their debut on Matador! With a sound and charisma that has drawn comparisons to Joy Division, the band has been frequently featured on music blogs and in the media as a hot newcomer even before their debut! Before signing with a label, they appeared on the popular British TV show "Jules Holland" and attracted a lot of attention.The band is touring the UK with Perm Violetz, who is on a big break. Some overseas media have already decided on the cover of the magazine, and the heat is reminiscent of the Permanent Violets. Hedi Slimane of Saint Laurent posted a photo of the band on his website, attracting attention.
