Description:

The second solo album by Marco Bernard, a musician from Italy who is well-known as the bassist of THE SAMURAI OF PROG, a symphonic rock project from Finland that is leading the current symphonic rock scene, involving many musicians from around the world who are active in the progressive rock scene. The second solo album by Marco Bernard, a musician from Italy, was released in '25! CD1 is a concept piece "MOBY DICK" inspired by the full-length novel of the same name by Herman Melville, and CD2 is "UNDERCOVER DEUX", a cover of Marco's favorite songs. As is typical of the Seacrest Oy label's work, this year's lineup includes Alessandro Di Benedetti of MAD CRAYON/THE GUILDMASTER, Linus Kase of ANGLAGARD/BRIGHTEYE BRISON, Octavio Stampalia of JINETES NEGROS, Marco Grieco, aka MARCOMARCO, known for his numerous collaborations with THE SAMURAI OF PROG and others. Octavio Stampalia of JINETES NEGROS, Marco Grieco aka MARCOMARCO, known for his numerous collaborations with THE SAMURAI OF PROG, and David Myers and Mimmo Ferri, who have worked on many albums by THE SAMURAI OF PROG and others. The album features the well-known keyboardists and composers such as Marco Grieco a.k.a. Marco Romarco, David Myers and Mimmo Ferri, who have been involved with THE SAMURAI OF PROG and many of their works. The album is a slight change in tone from the fantastical "Peter Pan" theme of the previous album, and projects the image of today's society in which communication is breaking down into the story of "one man's pursuit of Moby-Dick (white whale) in the vast unknown sea," and has a socially-conscious perspective that emphasizes the need for human connections. The album has a rich variety of sounds from ELP to pump rock/folk rock, as well as a hard-edged performance that reflects the theme of the album. The album is a work in which you can enjoy another high-quality symphonic rock sound.
