This is the second album by Ira Starr, a rising Afro-pop star. Ira Starr was born in the Republic of Benin and grew up in its neighbor, Nigeria. Originally a model, she was signed to Mavin Records, a prestigious Nigerian label, after her original song "Damage," uploaded on her Instagram in December 2019, created a buzz. She is now one of Africa's major new artists, along with South Africa's Tyla (Tyla).The festival will also feature the amateur piano-based jazzy afrobeats classic "Goodbye (Wake UP)" featuring Nigerian born star Asake, the mellow afrobeats "Commas" which has already recorded 30 million views, "Woman" featuring Anitta, the queen of the Brazilian pop scene whose latest album has been getting a lot of attention, and American actor/musician Coco Jones, and "Giveon," an R&B singer who gained popularity after being hooked up with Drake. Produced by Rvssian, a super producer in the reggaeton and Latin trap scene born in Jamaica. The sound production, which is based on Afrobeats and incorporates R&B and Latin pop, is also excellent.
