*Thin Lizzy* is the debut studio album by the Irish rock band Thin Lizzy, released on April 30, 1971. Following this album, the EP *New Day*, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios, was released in August of the same year. This album was the first to be produced by the original lineup of Phil Lynott (bass/vocals), Eric Bell (guitar), and Brian Downey (drums). This album represents Thin Lizzy pouring everything they had into their music and taking risks without hesitation, resulting in a passionate, energetic, and distinctive work. The 3CD/Blu-ray set includes 15 previously unreleased tracks (including the previously unreleased studio recording of “Beggar’s Song”). The tracklist also includes the rare *New Day* EP, other rare recordings, and BBC sessions. The 3CD format features a new stereo mix by Richard Whittaker, while the Blu-ray includes the first-ever Dolby Atmos mix. This deluxe set is housed in a 10×10-inch rigid box and comes with a 40-page hardcover book featuring detailed liner notes by Mark Blake of Mojo, as well as commemorative items.
