Jordan Rakai, who has released four albums to date and made a splash in Japan with his participation in "Blue Note Reimagined" in 2020, has moved his base of activities from Australia to London since 2015, where he has been creating a unique blend of soul, jazz, electro, and various other genres. His sound is a unique blend of soul, jazz, electro, and other genres that has garnered a large following. The concept of this album is "hope," and the content reflects the changes in his personal life. Produced by himself, the album was recorded at RAK Studios in London, away from home recording. He was also influenced by a documentary about his hero, Bill Withers. The songwriting, the superb arrangement with strings, and his melancholy and beautiful vocals are all aspects of his charm.About this album, Jordan said, "This time around, I wanted to go back to why I fell in love with music. I realized that I was listening back to the music of my favorite musicians, and I wanted to make a record with my vocals in the middle. The title of the album refers to the cycle of life: being a child, having children, and recognizing your inner child. We live in a never-ending cycle of life, and I wanted to explore that vulnerability in my lyrics. Jordan Rakai's previously announced October show at the Royal Albert Hall sold out in an instant, and the band announced an additional show on short notice. As this album is one of the most personal works to date, the future of the band is also very much in focus.
