Norah Jones' first Christmas album, "I Dream of Christmas," was released in 2021 to great acclaim and is now available in a deluxe 2-disc edition featuring newly recorded songs and live performances! The Christmas album, released in 2021, is a collection of holiday-themed original songs interspersed with covers of classic Christmas tunes, including lyrics by Jolly Jones ("Jolly" is a word often used during the holiday season to refer to the holiday season, such as "Happy"). The lyrics are filled with playful references to Norah Jones ("Jolly" is a word often used during the Christmas season, as in "Happy"). The cover songs are the classics that everyone has heard at least once, such as "White Christmas" and "Christmas Wonderland," arranged with Nora's smoky voice and gentle piano.The producer was Leon Mitchells, who played tenor saxophone on "It Was You" from "Begin Again" and "Say No More" and "To Live" from "Pick Me Up Off The Floor," and was a co-writer on the album's "Christmas The album includes "Christmas Time" and "You're Not Alone" with Nora as co-writers. The new album includes new studio recordings of Christmas classics such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "The Christmas Waltz," as well as a performance at the Empire State Building at the end of last year.
