Ausgeir, a genius singer and songwriter from Iceland, made his fourth visit to Japan at the HOSTESS CLUB ALL-NIGHTER held in the summer of 2016 and was called one of the best acts among the artists who performed at HCAN. In October, Ausgeir released "Whare Is My Mind? In October, Ausgele released "Here Is My Mind? At the end of the year, he suddenly released a mysterious video that appeared to be a teaser, hinting at the release of his second album, and now his long-awaited new album, "Afterglow," is to be released! Although he is only 23 years old, his debut album "In the Silence" was certified as the fastest selling album by a domestic artist in the history of Iceland, and one out of every 10 people in the entire population owns a copy. In Japan, Ausgeir's Japan tour in 2003 was so popular that even the additional shows were sold out immediately. His new album is a far cry from his previous work in terms of emotion and sound. It has evolved into a more electro sound, and even incorporates elements of R&B and soul, making it more melancholic and melodic electronica than his previous work, which had an impressive folky acoustic sound.What has not changed is the songwriters, who again include his father, a poet, his brother, a musician, and his best friend, Julius, as collaborators.
