Camel is a progressive rock band from England that has taken the world by storm with its lyrical sound and made a name for itself around the world. This 3-disc special remastered box set includes the remastered masterpiece "Mirage" and a multi-region Blu-ray with bonus tracks and 5.1ch remixes! Released in March 1974, this was the band's first album for Decca Records (under the DERAM umbrella) and includes their best-known works such as "Nimrodel - Procession - White Rider", "Free Fall" and "Lady Fantasy". . At the time of its release, the album failed to chart in the United Kingdom, but did make the Billboard charts in the United States. Mirage" catapulted Camel into the ranks of Britain's best progressive rock bands and paved the way for their future success. The album was later named one of the 50 essential progressive rock albums by Rolling Stone magazine. This 3-CD + multi-region Blu-ray version includes the original album mixes remastered by Ben Wiseman, plus 5.1 surround sound and stereo mixes by Steven W. Taylor, and 7 bonus tracks recorded in 1973 and during the album Seven bonus tracks recorded during the sessions are included. Includes illustrated booklet & essay.
