A super band formed by Keith Emerson (ex-Nice), Greg Lake (ex-King Crimson), and Carl Palmer (ex-Atomic Rooster), Emerson Lake & Palmer was a keyboard trio that pursued progressive rock and became a worldwide success in the 1970s. The band pursued progressive rock and achieved worldwide success in the 1970s. However, since two of the band members have passed away, it is impossible to see them live... In the mid-1980s, there was talk of an ELP reunion. In the mid-1980s, there was talk of a reunion of ELP, but Carl Palmer decided not to join the band due to his work with Ageia.After the release of the album "Emerson, Lake & Powell", the band toured North America, but due to lackluster sales, the band disbanded, and Carl Palmer, who had left Asia, was brought in, but Greg Lake left during rehearsals, and Robert Berry, formerly of GTR, was brought in to replace him, In 1988, the band released its debut album "3... To The Power Of Three". In 1988, the band released its debut album, "3... To The Power Of Three," and played 17 concerts in North America. The concert in Atlanta, Georgia on May 17 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a PBS radio program for promotion. This live album is based on the recordings from this broadcast, and provides a complete picture of the concert, including medleys and encores. With the participation of multi-instrumentalist Robert Berry, this rare live archive of a progressive rock sound different from that of ELP is finally available on CD!
