Album featuring the complete works for guitar by Catalan composers of the same generation, Gaspar Casado and Federico Monpau An excellent cellist, Cassado became friends with Andrés Segovia, with whom he wrote six guitar pieces. All of them are based on Catalan folk dances. Most of his works are piano pieces, but "Songs and Dances No. 10" was arranged for guitar by Montpou from the original piano piece, and "Compostela Suite" was dedicated to Segovia. All of them have a lyrical atmosphere similar to Mompou's unique meditative piano pieces. Eugenio Della Chiara, born in Pesaro in 1990, is a guitarist. He has given concerts in Japan and other parts of Europe, and has released three albums from DECCA. He also actively collaborates with contemporary composers, and has received dedications for more than 20 works.
