The album opens with the opening of Franz Schmidt's oratorio "The Book of the Seven Seals" and closes with the conclusion, bringing three centuries of music to life in the interior of St. Florian's Cathedral, where song and organ are never at odds, but complement each other to create a wonderful acoustic effect.
