Christmas with a prestigious choir from Regensburg, his hometown of nostalgia] This is a collection of Christmas masterpieces sung by Benjamin Apple, a famous German singer of the new era who has been active in a wide range of repertoire, from performances with an ancient instrument orchestra to modern and contemporary music, and is highly regarded both for his operas and songs. He will perform with a prestigious choir from his hometown of Regensburg, which has a history dating back to the Middle Ages, and it was with this group that he gained his first real singing experience as a young boy. The Munich Radio Orchestra joined the choir to sing classic works and Apple's singing was full of rich warmth on every track, and he was a perfect match for the Regensburg Boys Choir, which interpreted each piece with a clean solemnity and precision suited to its particular qualities. The addition of Zither and Steyr accordion in the numbers also adds to the traditional vibrancy of the music. This is a piece that offers a sense of the charm of the real place, with the atmosphere of a Christmas market in an ancient German city, and the authenticity of tradition. Naxos Japan
