The Deccan Traps", a British band led by bassist Neil Fairclough, who has been a member of QUEEN + Adam Lambert since their inception in 2011. In addition to Neil, vocalist Ricardo Alfonso is a phenomenal singer who played the lead role of "Galileo" in the international hit musical "WE WILL ROCK YOU" by QUEEN for a long time. The rest of the band consists of a total of seven members, all of whom are strong singers who have crossed over to the British scene.As the name of the band comes from the "Deccan Trap" in India, which is said to be the most vast trace of igneous activity on earth, its sound has a global grandeur and explosive energy, fusing elements of great British rock and progressive rock such as PINK FLOYD and YES as well as QUEEN. The album features melodic and high quality songs that fuse elements of not only QUEEN, but also great British rock and progressive rock such as PINK FLOYD and YES! The album is packed with highlights, including the emotional "Sun & Moon," which opens the album, "The Great Divide," a tribute to the great British, and "Chain Me," one of the band's most exciting numbers. Of these, "Dream Of A Thousand Nights," an epic number clocking in at over 10 minutes, features a guest appearance by none other than QUEEN's Brian May! His iconic guitar and narration give the song an operatic and theatrical depth, making this the moment where the QUEEN gene is most strongly felt. Finally, the band that inherits the spirit of great British Rock is releasing its debut album, which will be the talk of the town!
