Canada's Lutharo has signed with Atomic Fire Records and released their second album! Lutharo's style is a unique blend of traditional heavy metal, thrash, melodic death, and everything in between. The presence of the female vocalist, Christa, is also very strong! Lutharo is a Canadian melodic thrash/heavy metal band formed in 2012 as Incarnadine and changed their name to Lutharo in 2002. (Technically, the "o" had an umlaut in the beginning.) After releasing a number of singles, they made their album debut in 2009 with "Hiraeth". This caught the attention of Atomic Fire Records, which has now released their first new album in three years. The band's sound is a mixture of traditional heavy metal, thrash metal, and melodic death metal. Lutharo's unique style is a mixture of all of these. This album, titled "Chasing Euphoria," is a perfect example of Lutharo's style. Speedy, powerful, melodic, and with a solid performance.This is a very rich album that will appeal not only to extreme metal fans, but also to power metal fans. Female vocalist Christa's presence is also strong! The mixing/mastering was done by German master Lasse Ramelt, known for his work with Alestorm and Gloryhammer.
