Ronnie Atkins, vocalist of Pretty Maze, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but remains indomitable, releases his third solo album. While maintaining his superb melodies, he delivers a heavier sound. Produced by Chris Rainey, mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen. In 2008, the Danish heavy metal band Pretty Maze announced that vocalist Ronnie Atkins had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was a huge shock to his fans. He chose to "stay strong, set a goal, and keep on living his dream," and produced his first solo album "One Shot" (2009) with many guests including old and new Pretty Maze members. In 2010, he released his second album "Make It Count" and the EP "Symphomaniac," demonstrating his indomitable spirit. Now, Ronnie is releasing his third solo album, "Trinity".This time, all the songs were written using the guitar, and the result is a bit heavier than the previous two albums. However, Ronnie's signature superb melodies are still there. For me, a good song is a good hook, a good melody. And that's what paved the way for me. If you liked the first two albums, and if you are a fan of Pretty Maze, there is no reason not to enjoy this album. Once again, Chris Rainey was in charge of production.
