This is the second major label album and sixth album in total by Ana Moura, a female singer representing the fado scene after the death of Queen Amalia Rodriguez. Like the previous album, it was produced by Larry Klein, who has worked with Joni Mitchell and Tracy Chapman. The album features various styles of music by leading Portuguese composers, including danceable fado with plenty of percussion, arrangements reminiscent of Brazilian music, and even folky ballads, and Ana's diverse singing is sure to be enjoyed to the fullest. Cuban singer Omarla Portuondo joins as a guest.
