The Happy's is a legendary group that also interacted with Sunny Day Service in the 90's. Joe Nakamura was the frontman of the group. Joe Nakamura, who was the frontman of the Happy's, has started a new band, "Joe Nakamura & Eastwoods," and has released their first album, which will be distributed and released in a limited pressing on analog vinyl. Nakamura Joe & Eastwoods" started their activities in 2014 as a band consisting of 8 members under the concept of "garage soul x city pop", rooted in their own roots of music from the 60's to the 80's, especially soul, funk, and blues. Since the release of "Sayonara Dareta Sutekina Mono Sa" as their first release, the four 7-inch singles in the series have all gained popularity and captivated a wide range of listeners.The band has finally completed their memorable first album "Hello City Lights", which contains a total of 10 songs, including 4 newly recorded songs as well as the songs from the previous 7inch single. Folky and groovy, sweet and sad melodies reminiscent of Showa-era songs, and the sparkle of lively young soul... this is a must-listen for music fans, packed to the brim with the band's charm. RUMINZ, who was in charge of the jackets for all four of the band's previous 7inch singles, wrote the cover for this album with all his heart. All songs were mixed and mastered by Keiichi Sogabe, a close friend of Joe Nakamura, who has an extraordinary passion for this band.
