Their debut album "Prey" was released in 2011 on French label Listenable Records, and their mix of 90's thrash/death metal and symphonic elements was a big hit in Europe and beyond. Haliphron released their debut album, "Prey" on the Musable Records label. Haliphron is now releasing their second album.With riffs inspired by Metallica and 90's extreme metal, and symphonic arrangements similar to Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth, Haliphron's style of death metal is further refined on this album titled "Anatomy of Darkness". The Haliphron style of death metal, with symphonic arrangements reminiscent of Cradle of Filth or Cradle of Filth, is further refined on this album, titled Anatomy of Darkness. The vocals of Marouse, who is just as good as her male counterparts, are even more powerful. The album is a semi-concept album, with all of the lyrics dealing with addiction, and the mix, by Andy Klassen (ex-Holy Moses), is very 90s-inspired. This is a strong release that will appeal strongly to fans of death metal, black metal, and thrash metal.
