Juliette Greco, an artist who left her mark on the entire second half of the 20th century and an icon of French chanson, was the subject of a 1966 live LP in Berlin by Egerie, who was active in the cabarets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés from the late 1940s onward, and who has been a muse to an unspeakable number of artists and intellectuals. Muse of the intelligentsia, fashion icon, ambassador of French art and life, there is no shortage of words to describe her. In 1966, Juliette Greco gave a recital at the Philharmonie in Berlin at the invitation of Herbert von Karajan. Philharmonie at the invitation of Herbert von Karajan, she was more than just a name. She was a myth. In the hearts of crowds in the East and West, she is the greatest thing since the death of Edith Piaf. This recording brings back to life the great moments that came out of that special recital. At the end, when the crowd of 2,500 chanted Greco's name incessantly, the singer could not hide her emotion: "This is a miracle... I must be dreaming.I used to sing in a club down the street in Saint-Germain-des-Prés... And now here I am, in the same place where the great von Karajan conducts his orchestra!" Pressed in GZ, this 140g vinyl LP is in gatefold format and includes an 8-page booklet with concert photos and original liner notes.The rock band SIDO is starting its 20th anniversary year in January 2023. The tribute album to be released this time is an unprecedented work in which the voice actors who play the leading roles in each anime gather together and cover the theme songs of the anime they have been in charge of. This is a challenging tribute album that breathes new life into the anime theme songs that have been inseparable from Syd's 20th anniversary, and reinterprets them.
