Composer Kyohei Tsutsumi passed away from aspiration pneumonia on October 7, 2020, at the age of 80. He was a rare hit maker who produced numerous major hits over a long period of time from Japan's high growth period to the present day, and is now in the midst of a new project led by his direct disciple, music producer Satoshi Takebe, who has been involved in the arrangement of Tsutumi's works and has always admired him.
