Lovro von Matacic, Orchestre de l'Académie de Musique de Paris
Description:
Highly sought-after disc! Excellent sound quality! Naoya Hirabayashi also highly praised. Matacic's first stereo live performance with the Paris Conservatory Orchestra at the end of its life. This is the first disc by the same duo. The incandescent conducting and the fragrant sound mix together. The rare concerto with Uninsky was also discovered from the archives of INA (Institut National d'Audiovisual de France). Matacic conducted the Paris Conservatory Orchestra live on February 5, 1967, and it is a clear stereo recording! This is the first disc ever made by this duo. Incidentally, after the death of Cluytens on June 3 of the same year, the Orchestre de la Musique de Paris was disbanded and reorganized as the Orchestre de Paris with new members. The Orchestre de la Conservatoire de Paris was reorganized into the Orchestre de Paris with new members after the death of Cluytens on June 3 of the same year. The fragrant and fragrant sound of the now lost Orchestre de Paris combined with the fiery and intense conducting of Matacic will produce music of the highest quality. The performance of Tchaikovsky's Fifth is no less masterful than the Czech Philharmonic and NHK Symphony Orchestra recordings, which are regarded as Matacic's masterpieces. The orchestra's sound is tremendous, especially the roar of the brass is breathtaking! Beethoven's Minuet is also Matacic's favorite repertoire. The flaming tension of the instrument makes for a surprisingly dynamic performance that leaves an unforgettable impression. The way in which the orchestra draws detailed expressions from a simple structure is also a masterstroke. Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3 features Uninsky, the winner of the 2nd Chopin Competition, as soloist! This is also valuable because there are few active recordings of this pianist. This is a performance of great excitement, with the intense hitting of the keys with a hard touch overwhelmingly overwhelming. King International
