Shamek Farah's second album was recorded with a two-headed combo with his friend Sonelius Smith. Smith, a pianist known for his work with Roland Kirk, wrote two of the compositions on this album. The combo's ability is evident in hard bop manor tunes such as "People Puttin People Through Changes" and "Juluis," but it is also evident on "The World Of The Children," which is an expansion of "First Impressions," and "Conversation Piece," which is a more traditional version of "The World Of The Children. and "Conversation Piece," which is an expansion of "First Impressions. The Latin flavors and beautiful melodies that peek out from time to time also reveal an interesting path to the follow-up work, "La Dee La La".
