Along with the news of the new album, they released "Invisible", the first single from "FUTURE PAST". The song, which was released as an advance single with a music video, conveys the aesthetic and worldview of the forthcoming album. The song is produced by the band and Errol Alkan. The band and Errol Alkan produced the song, which is edgy, neo-romantic synth-pop with dark, cutting-edge experimental elements, creating a sound that is unmistakably their own. The way we create sound has always been important to Duran Duran. With "INVISIBLE," we were able to create exactly what we wanted.Sonically, it's very different music. When you fuse all the instruments together, I think it sounds like nothing you've ever heard before," member Nick Rose said of the song. The music video, the world's first collaboration of its kind, is also noteworthy. The surrealistic, dark beauty of the video was created by AI (Artificial Intelligence) Huxley, who uses a well-established technique called "active inference" originally devised by Karl Friston (one of the most influential neuroscientists in history), to create a complex dream world based on the lyrics and emotional tone of the song. complex dream worlds, transforming concepts rooted in human language and symbolism into bold imagery that defies the limits of the imagination. The result is a highly remarkable new form of visual discourse. The impetus for the album came at the end of 2018, when they entered the studio to write songs for an EP, and four days later they had over 25 strong song ideas. So they decided to make an album, even if it would take a long time, and in 2021, FUTURE PAST would finally be revealed in its entirety. The producers are Errol Alkan, the great Giorgio Moroder, and Mark Ronson.The album also features special guest Graham Coxon of Blur on guitar, Mike Garson, a keyboard player familiar to David Bowie, and Rikke Lee as a guest vocalist.
