Serge Tankian is a singer, poet, songwriter, visual artist, film producer, activist, and composer.As the frontman of System of a Down, which dominated the heavy music scene in the 2000s, he continued to present his original heavy sound and poignant lyrics to the world, and after the band ceased its activities, he worked as a solo artist. In 2020, he will release a new song as System of a Down for the first time in 15 years to appeal to the world about the current situation in his cultural homeland, Armenia. Following the release of new songs as a band, he has now unleashed his new solo album "ELASTICITY" under the name Serge Tankian! This 5-song EP will be his first work as a solo artist in about 8 years, following the release of his symphonic work "ORCA SYMPHONY NO. 1" in 2013.Commenting on the current album, Sarge says: "A few years ago, when I thought that I might make a new album with the members of System of a Down, I started working on songs arranged in a rock format, with that album in mind. Eventually, as the System of a Down album progressed, it became harder and harder to make it happen, so I decided to release the songs I was working on at the time under my own name.
