Kalhex member Lex releases his highly anticipated seventh solo album, When We Will Return! This work represents the next leap in Alex Besikian's artistic evolution and is a masterful blend of dreamy melodies and Jazz beats! The album also features a track with legendary MC Substantial, who is also well-known for his work with hydeout. The Japanese version of the cassette will include an exclusive bonus track, and as a limited item, a Photo+Collage Zine designed by Lex himself. The album can be enjoyed not only as music, but also as a visual work of art. Lex (de Kalhex), a member of the French rap group Kalhex and a solo artist, is also active as a drawing artist under the name Alex Besikian, and has frequently visited Japan to hold music events and solo exhibitions. He is the co-founder of Akromegalie Records (founded in 2008) in Paris and one of the members of the French HIP HOP group Kalhex. He has been working as a solo instrumental producer since 2011, and has been featured in Japan on Surburbia's Urban-Mellow FM 77.4 compilation by Toru Hashimoto (2014) and Radio Juicy's "The Chronic" (2017). He has also interacted with various artists, and in the past has collaborated with Grap Luva & Rob-O, known for Pete Rock's INI, Dday One, and Shing02 and Uyama Hiroto, who had close relationships with nujabes. More recently, he has collaborated with Toronto's legendary MC, Mathematicsik (Down Ta Erf). He is represented in Japan by Koizumi Takumi (hideout productions/former manager of nujabes) and has been performing regularly in Japan and Europe for over 10 years.
