DJ SPINNA has mixed soul, jazz funk, Brazilian, Latin, funk, 80's, boogie, disco, R&B~beat instrumentals, breakbeats, Detroit beatdown, house, and more with exclusive edits by DJ SPINNA himself, The mixes are rooted in the roots of black music, and the BPMs and rhythms change with each other, making for an overwhelming mix that is a masterpiece. DK SPINNA is a multi-talented DJ, remixer, producer, and mix/compilation expert who has mixed hip-hop, house, disco, jazz, and more. DK SPINNA's mixes are a mix of hip-hop, house, disco, jazz, and other genres, but always with a blackened sense of style and a unique groove that has won him countless fans here in Japan. The album opens with a Marvin Gaye re-edit by Spinna herself, followed by Drakhar's "Gangstarr Tribute," a tribute to Guru's death, which was a shock at the time of release, From there, we have a selection of classics from the past, including Santana, Patti Labelle, Roy Ayers, and Brian Auger, as well as Andres' mix of KZRC's Feeding, Moodymann, and other recent classics that were popular at the time of release, and even some newer classics such as Art Farmer and Joe Claudio's "Moodymann".
