As of September 2010, Wolfgang Haffner has played on over 350 albums and visited over 50 countries on tours and festivals. He has recorded 11 albums under his own name, and "Whatever It Is," recorded in February 1991, is the fourth album by this earnest, orthodox jazz quintet. Please enjoy this album while paying attention to his outstanding hitting point compositions. The opening track "Whatever It Is" is Haffner's own composition. His full-length solo, which is a condensed version of the best of jazz, is like an introduction to the members of the band.For The Time Being" was inspired by Chopin's "Nocturne No. 2 in E-flat major"? The trumpet plays a beautiful melody that makes one wonder if it was inspired by Chopin's "Nocturne No. 2 in E-flat major. A masterpiece by Bert Joris, perfect for blue moments at sunset. 1.2.79" is a masterpiece with piano as beautiful as a dripping drop of water by the virtuoso Daddo Moloney. This is the work of bassist Thomas Stabenow, who, along with Haffner, is the backbone of the band. The deep transparency of the last 15 seconds of the piece is the height of intoxication.
