＜Il Rovescio Della Medaglia "Contamination (Purple Vinyl)" released in 1975, featuring an orchestra. Rovescio Della Medaglia (RDM) is an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 1970. Initially playing heavy rock without keyboards, the band collaborated with composer/arranger Luis Enriquez Bacalov (later winner of the Academy Award for composition) on their third album, "Contaminazione" (Contaminated World). The conceptual content incorporating Bach's "Mean Clavier" and the fusion of the orchestra conducted by Bach with Enzo Vita's hard-hitting guitar and Franco di Sabatino's keyboards is wonderful, and is as good as New Trolls' "Concerto Grosso" and Osanna's "Milano Calibro 9". It has become a masterpiece of Italian Baroque rock music along with New Trolls' "Concerto Grosso" and Osanna's "Milano Calibro 9".Contamination" is a rare English version of "Contaminated World" with a different mix and a different jacket design from the American LP. 1975 release, limited edition on 180g purple vinyl.
