SPOON x ON-U SOUNDUS guitar rock and UK dub legends resonate! Spoon, a band that has been at the forefront of US guitar rock for over 20 years, has released their 10th and latest album "Lucifer on the Sofa", a dub album entirely reworked by UK dub legend and general manager of "On-U Sound", Adrian Sherwood. The dub album "Lucifer on the Moon" has been completely reworked by Adrian Sherwood, a UK dub legend and the general manager of On-U Sound. This project was made possible by an enthusiastic offer from frontman Britt Daniel, who asked Sherwood to use only tape and add whatever instruments he wanted to give the album a classic, rather than modern, look.Initially, the work was done in single units, but through bassist Doug Wimbish and drummer Keith LeBlanc, who also worked as a tuckhead in the in-house rhythm section at Sugarhill Records in the early 1980s, and session players at On-U Sound, extensive instrumental work was added, resulting in a reworking of the entire album. The result was a reworking of the entire album, with the addition of extensive instrumental work through the band's session players at On-U Sound. This is the first time in the band's history, and the first time for Adrian Sherwood since Primal Scream's "Echo Dek," that a rock band's album has been completely dubwise, and it is a record that combines the appeal of the two sides' commitment to sound that goes beyond a simple reworking!
