Bruce Springsteen's 40+ year recording career began with 1973's Greetings from Asbury Park. He has won 20 Grammy Awards, one Academy Award and one Tony Award, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, received the Kennedy Center Honor Award, and was named Music Cares' 2013 Person of the Year. His memoir, Born to Run: The Autobiography of Bruce Springsteen (Born to Run) (published by Simon & Schuster, Hayakawa Shobo in Japan) and accompanying album, Chapters and Verse, were released in September 2016. He was also awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in November of the same year. The historic 236-performance Springsteen on Broadway ran from October 2017 to December 2018 at the Jujamcyn Theatre Company's Walter Kerr Theatre, and a soundtrack album and Netflix special special were also produced. in 2019. Western Stars, his first studio album in five years, was released.He also co-directed a feature film with longtime collaborator Tom Jimeney, "Western Stars," distributed by Warner Bros. The National, who rose to the top of the indie rock band world with their fifth album "High Violet," released in 2010, is now celebrating its 10th anniversary with a 3LP set. The National's fifth album, "High Violet," released in 2010, is a masterpiece that is considered the band's breakthrough album, featuring fan favorites "Terrible Love," "Bloodbuzz Ohio," and "England," as well as "Vanderlyle Crybaby," which has long served as the finale to their live sets, "Geeks," and more.
