The Dvorak Piano Quartet carefully depicts the exquisiteness and anguish in Schumann's chamber music! The Dvorak Piano Quartet, known for its recording of Dvorak's Piano Quartets (SU-4257), has released an album with an all-Schumann program. The genius Robert Schumann composed the Piano Quartet in C minor at the age of 18. In this recording, the quartet performs a version of this work, which shows the influence of Beethoven and Schubert, in a version with a supplement by Draheim. Although written by a young composer, it is a fascinating work with both delicate melody and power. On the other hand, the Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Op.47, written in 1842, is a masterpiece in Schumann's style, influenced by J.S. Bach and Beethoven.
