The alternate version of his 1994 masterpiece "WILDFLOWERS", his first release for Warner Records, is now also available as a 2-CD analog set! Following last year's "WILDFLOWERS & ALL THE REST", Tom's gift is now being brought to the world by his loving family, bandmates and collaborators... Tom Petty is a legend of the American rock scene, having sold over 80 million albums, received 18 Grammy nominations (including three wins), and received numerous special achievement awards, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Since his debut in 1976 with the album "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers," he has released numerous albums under his own name and as a solo artist, and has continued to play pure rock 'n' roll until his later years, making him a true American rock treasure. Last year, Tom's first album with Warner Records, 1995's masterpiece "Wildflowers," was re-released in two deluxe editions, a 4-CD set and a 7-LP set, both of which are available on CD and vinyl. The album, released in two deluxe editions (4 CDs and 7 LPs), as well as a 2 CD and 3 LP set, has been called "the definitive work, a new bright spot in the most fertile and influential period of the American legend's career" by Rolling Stone magazine and "the best and most legitimate of his career" by Variety magazine. Variety called it "the best and most legitimate box set of his career," adding even more color to the Tom Petty legend.A limited edition Super Deluxe Edition of WILDFLOWERS & ALL THE REST was released exclusively through Tom Petty's official store, consisting of a 5-CD and 9-LP set. The Super Deluxe Edition also included a disc of alternate versions of all the songs on the album, but this alternate version disc, "FINDING WILDFLOWERS (ALTERNATE VERSIONS)" is now finally being released as a stand-alone album.
