It's hard to believe that after 22 long years of DIY, scrappy life, these little songs are now being reborn in this way. I used to burn some of these pieces onto CD-Rs, stuff them in my backpack, and go downtown hoping that someone would buy these CD-Rs.Now that the album, beautifully mastered by Bob Ladwig, is available for streaming, analog, and CD, I hope that people who have been listening to my music for a long time can enjoy it in a new way. Regina Spektor is a singer/songwriter born in the former Soviet Union and currently based in New York City. With a musical style that has a classical background, poetic worlds rich in storytelling, and a beautiful voice that has been compared to Fiona Apple and Tori Amos, she is a singer-songwriter full of personality who attracts fans around the world with her style of weaving stories while freely manipulating her own voice.
