Description:
In addition to Popper, Martin Rummel has recorded many etudes for cello, including those by Dupaul, Lee, and Gruetzmacher. Popper's etudes, which are essential for the development of cellists, have already been released on the paladino music label in the form of "Exercises for Higher Cello Performance, Op.73" (pmr0085), and now Rummel joins them with the Op.76 etude, which includes intermediate and beginner level pieces. The following is a list of 15 melody and chord exercises. The "15 Melodic and Chordal Easy Exercises" are listed as "easy" in terms of difficulty, but the two cellos' harmonies are beautiful and the melodies are familiar, making them enjoyable to listen to.
