The duo Sound Spaces was formed in 2008 by bassoonist Johannes Schwarz and saxophonist Sascha Armbruster. Apart from the sounds of their instruments, electronics is an essential element of their music, and the two instrumentalists extend their playing techniques to the utmost limit, developing new "sounds" in each piece through the interaction of natural and synthetic sounds.
