This 4-CD set contains studio recordings by legendary Swedish jazz baritone saxophonist Lars Glynn from 1956 to 1960, including 9 EPs for Metronome, as well as recordings for Sonet, Dragon, and Philips, all of which would be quite difficult to collect in their original form. This is a rare boxed set that includes 9 EPs from "Metronome," as well as recordings from "Sonet," "Dragon," and "Philips," all of which would be quite difficult to collect in their original form. This is not only a very good time for Lars Gryn, but it is also a very important time for the band, as it features Bengt-Arne Wallin (tp), Ake Persson (tb), Putte Wickmann (cl), Arne Domnerus (as, cl), Rolf Billberg (as), Bjarne Nerem (ts), and Rolf Billberg (as). Nerem (ts), Rune Ofwermann (p), Lars Bagge (p), Rune Gustafsson (g), Georg Riedel (b), and Nils-Bertil Dahlander (ds). It is also noteworthy.
