In this production, Romeo is played by La Scala's Etoile Roberto Bolle and Juliet by American Ballet Theatre's Misty Copeland. Roberto Bolle is a national star in Italy, and is active in the world of ballet with his well-trained physicality and superb artistry.Misty Copeland is the first African American woman to become a principal of American Ballet Theatre. Her lovely figure and perfect proportions have made her a center of attention not only in the ballet world, but also in the world of dance.
