A veteran Italian melodic/symphonic rock project band, born in '95 as a solo project of Corrado Sardella (key), and has been releasing music in the 21st century as a band with supporting members up to the present. The new studio album "UNEXPECTED INTERSECTIONS" by DORACOR was released in '25 from AMS in Italy. The album is a further pursuit of symphonic rock with a grand sense of scale, full of romanticism and fantastic images typical of Euro-prog rock, supported by Tony Banks-style sparkling keyboard arrangements that seem to refer to the Genesis of the past and neo-prog rock of the 1980s. This is a piece of work.John Jowitt, bassist for some of the leading bands in the UK pump/melodic rock scene such as IQ/ARENA/FROST*, Mirko DeMaio, drummer for THE FLOWER KINGS since the band resumed activities in '19, and Elisa Montaldo, keyboardist for heavy sympho band: IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE and VLY, another unit of CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX, Elisa Montaldo, keyboardist of IL TEMPIO DELLE CLESSIDRE, a heavy symphonic band, and VLY, another unit of CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX, Simona Malandrino, guitarist who has played with the famous cantautrice Marcella Bella, and John Jowitt, bassist. The album features high-level performances by strong guest musicians such as Simona Malandrino, a guitarist who has played with the famous cantautrice Marcella Bella, and Kostas Milonas, drummer of the Greek prog metal band SUNBURST, and was completed in collaboration with vocalist/composer Lorena Cossu. The title track, a suite of over 15 minutes long, was completed in collaboration with vocalist/composer Lorena Cossu, and the many dynamic developments with twists and turns that are typical of prog rock make this a fulfilling work that will overwhelm you!
