This is a reissue of the 1995 debut cassette release by The Secret Stars, a lo-fi-folk duo formed by Karate's Geoff Farina and Jodi Leo in the mid to late 90's. Geoff and Jodi take turns as main vocalists. The duo's intimate sound is spiced up with synths, noise, samples, and other experimental elements, and is created with a simple guitar and bass structure and the gentle, simple voices of the two singers. Carefully mastered from the original cassette, every detail has been taken care of so as not to spoil the texture of the cassette tape.
