It is a session recording made in August 2020 at the Siemens Villa, Berlin, by the Corona Disaster. Zimmermann is known for his superb technique and delicate, graceful, and fragrant tone, but in this Beethoven, he plays with an exquisite sense of balance and great taste, placing great importance on dialogue with the piano. Martin Helmchen, born in Berlin, Germany in 1982, won the first prize at the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in 2001, and has since become a pianist of international renown.
