This is the second release following the previous one (BIS SA2317). Rossini, famous as a composer of operas such as The Barber of Seville and Otello, composed instrumental and chamber music in the classical style as a boy, and his exceptional talent soon blossomed. As can be seen in the three sonatas from the six quartets recorded here, Rossini's eloquent and beautiful melodies emerged in his teens, and he left behind charming works that are full of vitality and brilliance. On the other hand, Hofmeister, who was active in Vienna and composed many instrumental pieces and operas of the classical school, also presents truly brilliant melodies. King International
