Little Johnny Rivero is a living legend who has performed with many salsa icons. His albums under his own name have received high acclaim across the board. Johnny Rivero's last album "GOLPE DURO" ('20) featured Anthony Almonte, a singer and percussionist.He is one of the most current artists in the field, performing with not only Latin artists such as Paquito Delivera, Andy Montanez, and Dave Valentine, but also with Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney. This long-awaited collaboration between these two artists has been further developed and brought to fruition with the release of their long-awaited double-headed album. The first single "Siempre Igual," with its lively brass, witty ritmo, and Almonte's lustrous, powerful voice, is one of the best things to come out of this collaboration.
