Vinyl Williams is the project of Lionel Williams, a 25-year-old (as of 2015) young multi-instrumentalist who grew up surrounded by art and whose family includes his grandfather John Williams, a very famous film composer who wrote music for "E.T.", "Harry Potter" and "Star Wars", and his father, a music producer. The album is a combination of ambient, electronic, krautrock, psychedelia, shoegaze, and more, with a unique and experimental sound influenced by a variety of genres, including ambient, electronic, krautrock, psychedelia, and shoegaze.He has created artwork and music videos for his psychedelic and surreal albums, his paintings were featured in the renowned culture magazine Dazed & Confused in 2012, and he directed the latest music video "Multi-Love" for the lo-fi, psychedelic band Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
