Cantus concerts and tours were all cancelled as the COVID-19 outbreak spread across the United States. The COVID-19 Sessions is a collection of 19 tracks that were recorded as a result of pondering what could be done under such circumstances. The first tracks were distributed on YouTube and Facebook and received a total of millions of views and became the talk of the town. The results prompted the Signum label, which was commissioned by Cantus, to begin distributing and releasing the tracks session by session in August, leading to this CD release. This led to the release of the CD. Those songs were selected from various countries and various genres, and were included in the songs that were to be sung on the tour and in concerts. Tokyo M Plus
