Rome-based Orhan Med Med recorded Scarlatti in full! Cembalist and pianist Orhan Med Med. During the lockdown period, he repeatedly asked himself questions as a musician, and it was Scarlatti that he tackled. He recorded 555 sonatas from Scarlatti's vast oeuvre, which he carefully selected for this album. This is a remarkable recording by Med, who is currently based in Rome, and breathes new life into the Italian land. Each note spun with the care and attention to detail that is typical of Memed will give the listener a healing experience. Orhan Memed (piano) studied piano and violin at the University of Southern California, and after completing his doctorate in musicology at Oxford University, he moved to Paris to study with Huguette Dreyfus (1928-2016). Since then, he has gained Dreyfus' immense trust and is attracting attention as Dreyfus' treasured son.In 2018, he made his long-awaited and much talked about first visit to Japan.
