Description:

Pobłotka's "The Law of Averages" Volume 2! Imported with Japanese commentary!Eva Pobłotka, one of the leading contemporary Polish pianists, winner of the prize at the 10th International Chopin Piano Competition and the Mazurka Prize in 1980.Released as a commemorative disc for her visit to Japan in 2018, it has received international acclaim, including "Special Mention" by Record Arts magazine and "Recording of the Month" by Gramophone magazine in the UK. Following the internationally acclaimed release of Bach's "The Mean Clavier Works, Volume 1" (NIFCCD062063), which was released as a commemorative disc for her visit to Japan in 2018 and was selected as "Special Recording of the Month" by Record Art magazine and "Recording of the Month" by Gramophone magazine (March 2019), the long-awaited "Volume 2" is now available! Pobłotka has been with Bach's music since she was a child and grew up listening to the Matthew and John Passions. She has performed Bach's works in numerous concerts, competitions, and auditions, and has studied with one of the greatest performers in the history of Bach's music, Tatiana Nikolaeva, in her interpretation of the works of this master of polyphony. 2018-2022, she will perform in major Polish halls and Japan, Denmark, Germany, and the United Kingdom, she will perform Bach's "Mean Clavier Works" dozens of times, and she will also develop a series of Polish Radio programs dedicated to Bach's music.Like the previous recording, this recording uses a Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, Kawai's top-of-the-line grand piano from the "Shigeru Kawai" series. Szymon Pachkowski, a Polish musicologist specializing in J.S. Bach and Wagner, provides a fascinating commentary on the music, which is also available in Japanese. Tokyo M-Plus
